Our Story

Foundation

Our story started as a family business in 1998 in Meriç, a small village in Cyprus, with the production of cheese with milk collected from the surrounding farms. Our initial capacity was daily milk processing of 2000 liters and a working team of 10 people.

2005 - 2012

Technological Developments and New Standards

Our production facility, production lines, and internationally accredited systems have been updated to provide the highest mechanization with advanced technology. Thanks to our internal laboratories, the quality, and hygiene of the consignments are constantly monitored by the food quality teams so that high quality is guaranteed.

Export Awards

Our brand awareness has significantly improved over the years with our products’ unique tastes, original recipes, and developing distribution networks. Our products are sold in more than ten countries, especially in Turkey and Middle Eastern Countries. Our business is focused on exporting by increasing the value and quality of local products. <br><br> 85% of the halloumi production and 50% of fresh cheese (kashkaval) and mozzarella production are exported. With the high production and export level, our company is one of the top three companies in its sector among the companies registered in the Cyprus Turkish Chamber of Industry and has been receiving awards in this regard since 2013.

BRC Quality Certificate

The high safety, hygiene and quality standards of our products have been awarded by the BRC certificate, the world’s leading food-level certification, in 2018.

Young Generation

The modernization and growth of our company have accelerated with the second generation taking a role in the management. Sustainability has also come to the fore, and as the first step, solar energy panels with a power of 375 KW have been put into use, and 65% of the electricity demand of our production line has begun to be met. New projects have been started to be implemented to reduce manpower and error, enhance automation, and produce value-added products.

2019
2021

By taking steps to become an integrated facility, the construction, and installation of our farm has been completed. It is named Meat & Milk, with a capacity of 500 cattle, where raw milk production and sale have commenced.

Recently, rebranding has been completed and the packaging of all our products as well as our logo has been updated along with our corporate identity. Moreover, our farm has started to produce raw milk, so we started to produce some of our products from our own production of milk.
